Sponsorship Program
The Vancouver Island Table Tennis Association (VITTA),
established in 2009, promotes the growing sport of table tennis
on Vancouver Island.
From many clubs throughout the Island, the hundreds of
players involved are a widely diverse group of all ages and ethnic
backgrounds, sharing a common affection for table tennis. VITTA
acts as a catalyst to support these players through an
informative web site and the organization of tournaments,
league matches and maintaining player ratings.
The game can be played at any level and regardless of skill
level, it develops quickness of mind, faster reflexes, and
uniquely activates portions of the brain that no other sport
does.
It is a highly social game, bringing both children and adults
into an environment where contact with others is a requisite
part of the sport. Its benefits as a profound social experience
are unparalleled.
Sponsorships help to defray the cost of maintaining our web
site and also of running tournaments, allowing for a reduced
entry fee, which in turn helps to attract even more
participants.
We offer a number of sponsorship options allowing your
business to advertise and, at the same time, support table tennis on Vancouver
Island. These are outlined below.

Web Site Ad - $25.00 per annum
These are inexpensive ads that are positioned on our home page
and include your logo, address & phone number and will link
directly to your web site (if you have one). For individual
sponsors it includes your name, residence and thumbnail photo
linking to a larger version. Examples of these
ads are shown on this page.

Web Site Hosting - $60.00 per annum

You will receive a no-cost ad, for 12 months, on the home
page of our web site - larger than a Web Site Ad and positioned at the top of the page.

Tournament Sponsorship - $250.00 per tournament

Your name, identified as the sponsor, will appear on all
certificates awarded to event winners and runners-up.

You can display brochures, name sign and/or business cards at the
information/sign-in desk and venue on the day of the tournament.

We guarantee to allow you the option to renew your exclusive
sponsorship for as long as you wish.

You will receive a no-cost Web Site Ad, for 12 months, on the home
page of our web site.

Vancouver Island Championships - Sept/October. Currently
sponsored by Courtside Sports, Victoria.

League Naming Rights - $500.00 per annum
The VITTA Table Tennis League started in 2011 with 5 teams, from
Victoria to Campbell River, and increased in size to 12 teams
in 2013. Finding central venues to play our league matches has been
challenging but we have found a home using the facilities of
table tennis nanaimo at the Departure Bay Activity Centre.
Other venues used are located in Duncan and Victoria. Unfortunately some players having to travel from Victoria and
Campbell River to play their league matches in Nanaimo feel the
financial strain and we would like to try to ease this burden by
asking a corporate sponsor to step forward with help. Any funds
raised would then be distributed to ensure everyone who wants to
play can, regardless of their financial situation.
We are offering the VITTA League Naming Rights
for $500.00 per annum. In return:
- The VITTA League will be renamed to "Your
Name VITTA League" in all advertising and press
releases associated with this year-around event.
- Your name will appear on the plaque, showing
the names of the winning team members, attached annually to
the trophy awarded to the League champions.
- We guarantee to allow you the option to renew
your exclusive sponsorship for as long as you wish.
- You will receive a no-cost Web Site Ad, for
12 months, on the home page of our web site.
