A reminder the deadline
to register teams for the 2012 VITTA League is February
25th.
Once again, we would like to remind everyone, no matter what level
you are playing at,
that an
opportunity still exists to participate in the VITTA League next year.
We would like to see as many players as possible involved
- maybe with more than one division.
If you think you would be interested in playing in the
2012 VITTA League let us know. We will post the names of either
complete teams (minimum of 3 players) or, to help in the
formation of teams, individuals looking for a team. More
information here.

| Most Improved Player: |
|
|
Starting this year VITTA will recognize the League player
that improves the most over the year. The award will be given to
the player that has the highest percentage increase in their
League ratings at the end of the League
competition. To qualify players must have
competed in at least two 2012 VITTA League matches. All players that competed last year now have a
rating based on results. (Individual ratings link here).
All new players will be given an estimated rating prior to
them competing this year and they will be eligible for this
'Most Improved Player' award the following year.

We are delighted to report that Kal Tire, South Nanaimo,
have agreed to sponsor the up-coming 2012 Vancouver Island
Seniors Championships in June. Sponsorships such as these help defray the costs
of running tournaments and keep entry fees low. Wherever possible please support and

We try to keep our site current by regularly posting news
from the local and global table tennis community that we think will be
of interest - including playing tips and up-dates on the rules of the
game.
