rules will be in effect.
All rackets must be one side black and one side red with ITTF
approved coverings.
Tie-breaks in round-robins will be decided successively by
head-to-head results, least number of games conceded then least
number of points conceded. Games and points will only be used as
far as is necessary to resolve the order only of those players
involved in the tie.
Colour of playing shirt must not be white or orange. Dark
colours are recommended.
Entry deadline: received by 5:00 pm Friday September 3rd,
2010 - entries received after this time will NOT be included in the
tournament.
Each member of a doubles team to submit an entry.
Send entry by e-mail to: entry@vitta.ca
and include the following information:
~ Name
~ Phone #
~ Event(s) entered i.e. Singles, Doubles and/or Mixed Doubles
~ Age group for each event i.e. 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 or 80+
~ Name of double's partner(s)
Please note - all players will be required to sign a
waiver upon arrival:
"I hereby agree to abide by the tournament rules and
all decisions of the tournament committee and to release the
City of Nanaimo, the Nanaimo Table Tennis Club and the
Tournament Committee from responsibility for any loss, damages
or injuries, occurring as the result of participating in this
tournament."
